This is a short get to know you to see if we are a good fit for each other as well as checking availability around your estimated due date. At this time I am accepting ONE mom per month.
I am honored to be part of your chosen birth team. Navigating your birth can be overwhelming and it doesn't need to be. As your doula, this visit will include answering your questions, concerns and discussing your optimal birth wishes in more detail. A $250 non-refundable retainer will be due at this time. Option to be invoiced through paypal. *Per need this visit could be 1-2 hours.
Discussion of comfort measures for labor, birth positions and options that reflect your birth wishes (home or hospital).
Wishes may include laboring in the comfort of your home as long as possible. *per need this visit could be 1-2 hours.
Have your bags packed. I am officially on-call for you for two weeks before your estimated due date until you go into labor. I am available by phone, email, text. This is also when your final payment of $600is due. Option to be invoiced through paypal.
From the time you notify me you are in labor until the birth of your baby (babies) I am your continuous support system.
The labor process can be a challenge for partner, too. Reassuring and assisting in how to support mom and reinforcing a beautiful partner connection.
I will remain by your side up to 1-2 hours as needed following the birth of your baby.
About a week after birth I will contact you/visit your home per your wishes. This early time home is precious and many times emotional and exhausting. You deserve the best healing and baby bonding time.
If you should desire any additional resource needs such as lactation or chiropractic care please ask.
